How to Optimize Blog CTAs to Improve Conversions
Hey there,
Not getting any conversions from your blog content?
You might want to rethink your Call-To-Actions (CTAs).
CTAs are an often neglected part of content marketing blogs.
They’re slapped onto blog posts haphazardly or inserted automatically via scripts without much thought.
But getting your CTAs right is crucial for driving conversions from blog content.
Here are 4 tips to help you get the most out of your blog CTAs:
1. Align CTA copy with the content of your post
Stop using the same generic CTA copy for every blog post.
If you want to increase the chances of visitors interacting with your CTAs, you need to make sure the CTA copy matches the content of your post.
Use the CTA copy to let readers know that they can use your product or service to solve a pain point discussed in the blog post.
2. Include multiple CTAs
Some marketers shy away from adding multiple CTAs to a blog post. I’m here to tell you there’s nothing wrong with doing this.
Try to include 2-3 CTAs in each blog post.
Vary the copy and style (more on that below), but make sure all the CTAs point to the same offer or page.
3. Try out different CTA designs
Depending on your audience and overall blog design, you’ll find that some CTA designs perform better than others.
Try out text-only CTAs, banners, sliders, and pop-ups to see what drives the best results for you.
4. Make your CTAs easier to notice
A big part of getting more visitors to interact with your CTAs involves making CTAs stand out on the page.
Use contrasting colors, larger font sizes, and bold font styles to make your CTAs easier to notice.
