4 Ways to Increase Blog Conversion Rate

Hey there,

Looking to get more conversions from your blog content? Try this:

1. Add more CTAs

If you want your blog content to convert, you need to include a call-to-action (CTA).

Don’t be shy about adding multiple CTAs to every blog post—you can add 2-3 CTAs for every ~2,000 words of content.

2. Optimize existing CTAs

Stop using generic copy for every CTA on your blog. Instead, create unique CTA copy for every blog post.

Focus the copy on letting readers know that they can use your product to solve a pain point discussed in the blog post.

Use contrasting colors, larger font sizes, and bold font styles to make your CTAs easier to notice.

Try out different CTA designs: text-only CTAs, banners, sliders, and pop-ups. See which type of CTA performs best with your audience.

3. Create more conversion-focused content

Some types of content simply convert better than others.

In general, content aimed at people who are further in their customer journey tend to convert better.

Some examples of conversion-focused content you can create include:

⭐ Product roundups (e.g., “X Best Content Marketing Tools for 2024”)

🆚 Comparisons (e.g., “[Your Product] vs. [Competing Product]”)

📈 Case studies (e.g., “How [Your Product] Helped [Your Customer] Do X”)

4. Embed your product into the content

I see this mistake a lot in SaaS blogs—the writer goes in-depth on how to solve a pain point the audience has and then simply mentions in passing that their company’s product can help with that pain point.

If you want to maximize conversions, you need to actually show readers how to solve their problem using your product.

Guide them, step-by-step, on how to use your product to accomplish what they need to do (and make sure to include screenshots).

Boost your blog’s conversion rate

Combining these four tactics will help you boost your blog’s conversion rate this year.
